Our Hereford cattle are born on the farm, graze on pasture and hay year round, and get a lovely treat of grain each day. Herefords are a gentle breed of cattle that are naturally stress free producing great tasting meat. The beef has just the right amount of marbling to pack a ton of flavor and moisture.

Minimum order of 20 lbs then can order in multiples of 5 lbs. Approximately 90% lean ground beef in packages of 1-1.25 lbs per package.
Get Four 3 - 4 lb size roasts in the pack. Various cuts both bone-in and boneless.

Step 2: We will contact you to confirm your order or discuss options.
Step 3: Before the animal goes to the processor, we'll contact you to discuss the cuts you would like if you have ordered an option where this is possible. No problems if you have never done this before, we will walk you through it based on what you like.
Step 4: Once the processor has finished and the meat is ready, we'll give you a call to arrange for delivery to your door! We offer delivery within 50 miles of our farm in Meyersdale, PA and work with customers who live further away.

Half Beef = $0.80/lb hanging weight + $32.50 fee
Quarter Beef = $0.80/lb hanging weight + $16.25 fee
Eighth Beef = $0.80/lb hanging weight + $8.25 fee
Processing prices are determined by our processing partner and can change without notice...We will do our best to update costs as we get notified by the processor.
The hanging weight is the weight of the animal after it has been field dressed but before the individual cuts have been made. Finished meat weight ranges from 60-65% of the hanging weight. So a quarter beef that finishes at 65 lbs would have a hanging weight of about 100 lbs
A typical quarter beef would have a hanging weight of 100 lbs and yield about 65 lbs of finished meat.
Cost would be 100X$3.70 = $370 cost to farmer +
Processing fee of 100 X $0.80 +$16.25=$96.25 for a total of $466.25
This is $7.17 per lb finished
